1980 XLH

This is a customers bike, basically he dropped off a big old pile of broken crap and said to make it good. What you see below is the result. The lower end was good, it has had a valve job and new pistons. It runs good, even with the ancient Bendix carb. The cast wheels are not stock, I don't know where they came from exactly, I do know the rear wheel just barely fits in this frame and that I had to machine down the spacers. The front end is 2 inches over. The frame is powder coated. I'm still waiting for the owner to make up his mind on the air cleaner and we're still looking for the right side tin. This thing runs great and I don't want to give it back.
