So your electronic flash timer has crapped out and you ain't gonna spend 90 bucks at the Harley shop for a new one and you think them old mechanical ones that cost $2.17 work just fine, and you really want to put a Dyna 2000 single fire ignition on your bike and you feel like putting an electrical connector under the gas tank so you can disconnect the front end electric harness in 10 seconds instead of 10 hours. Then this diagram is for you, it can probably be used on other year XLs and for a fee I can draw up a diagram for your custom application.
